Because websites run on computers, every now and then they can be hit by a glitch, just like any other file/program. The server that hosts your machine might be compromised, or the software that your website runs on may need upgrading. One of your users accidentally (or a hacker maliciously) may upload a file that breaks the site entirely.

Rates (current as at July 1st, 2012)

• Casual Troubleshooting: $70 per hour, minimum charge $35

  • Security assessment – security plugin selection/installation/configuration
  • Emergency anti-hacker measures – lockout, restore corrupted files/tables, file debugging, security assessment

  Other services required? Just ask.

• Basic Webmaster Package: $200 per annum

  Smaller sites will generally only need a checkover once a month and occasional software updates. Basic package includes up to 1 hour a month of complimentary troubleshooting. Any troubleshooting work required over and above that hour will be charged at the standard Casual rate.

• Advanced Webmaster Package: $500 per annum

  Larger sites may need a checkover once a week and regular security updates. This package includes up to 1 hour a fortnight of complimentary troubleshooting. Any troubleshooting work required over and above that hour will be charged at the standard Casual rate.
